The next Basecamp is rising.
Four rooms this season — six from next — plus a café and a pool on the hill directly above Basecamp. Terracotta, terrazzo and teak, looking straight out over the ocean and Weligama’s fishing-boat harbour. Your own space up the hill; Basecamp’s mornings just below. Not finished yet. Already worth wanting.

Made of real materials
Every surface is chosen: hand-laid terracotta floors, terrazzo bathrooms, teak beds with woven cane headboards, natural stone tubs, a blue-terrazzo pool, and a shala roofed in double-layer illuk thatch on bamboo.

Heights is small on purpose — four rooms this season, six from next. Nights up the hill are yours: private, comfortable, quiet. In the morning you walk down to the shala and practice with the Basecamp community, and afterwards everyone comes together over breakfast. Then the day opens up — surf, explore, or retreat back to your own space until you feel like company again.
Daily breakfast & twice-daily yoga included with every stay
